I have been combating the inflammation in my body naturally.  At first it sure felt overwhelming and challenging.  I would ask myself questions like, “where do I even start?”  “what will I eat?”   As I got more educated I realize there are so many options out there.

Finding new recipes to try has been so fun!  The below recipe is delicious, you can make it your own with any modifications, and it is packed full of anti-inflammatory goodness.


Golden Milk Latte

Originated from Ayurveda, the ancient medicine of India. They have been concocted for thousands of years to help reduce inflammation. Instead of spices, I use essential oils!!

Did you know that quality essential oils are not made, they are EXTRACTED from plants, herbs, and spices. Essential oils are the ‘life blood’ of plants with amazing benefits for our health and wellness. They are simply the ‘essence’ of the real plant or herb in a highly concentrated form!

Here is the recipe I use:

~  3 cups (or more) Coconut Milk (hemp milk or almond milk work too)

~  3 tbsp raw honey

~  1 tsp ground turmeric

~  1 drop Cinnamon Bark essential oil

~  1 drop Ginger essential oil

~  1/4 tsp pure organic vanilla extract

Blend in blender

~  Stir a toothpick dipped in Cardamom essential oil into your delicious creation

You can always sprinkle some extra cinnamon on top as a garnish if you are feeling fancy

You can always spice it up with a stir of a toothpick dipped in black pepper essential oil as well.
